Hollis Cavner — CEO of Pro Links Sports and The Royal Club

For nearly three decades, Hollis Cavner has served as chief executive officer of Pro Links Sports (PLS), which manages operations and logistics for multiple Professional Golf Association (PGA) TOUR and Champions Tour events. Hollis Cavner and PLS have managed events such as the Wells Fargo Championship in Charlotte NC and Valspar Championship in Tampa and the 3M Open in Minnesota. They also manage the Timbertech Championship in Boca Raton, Florida, and the Sanford Health Invitational in South Dakota and the Insperity Championship in Houston TX.

In addition to organizing golf events, PLS offers corporate hospitality packages and executive outings at premier golf courses including Pebble Beach and Pinehurst . Under Mr. Cavner’s leadership, the company handles location selection, booking, lodging, meals, and event staffing for outings that have featured appearances by golf legends Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus and Lee Trevino along with many of the top new professionals on the PGA TOUR.

In 2017, Mr. Cavner purchased a 500-acre tract that became the Royal Golf Club in Lake Elmo, Minnesota. Named Minnesota’s Best Golf Course in 2021, The Royal Club features a public golf course designed by Arnold Palmer and Annika Sorenstam, a six-hole course that is free for children, and several hundred luxury residential lots.
